Dit theaterseizoen presenteert De Krakeling eens per maand op de woensdagochtend een programma voor jonge kinderen én hun ouders.
Een speelse ochtend waarin kinderen verrast, verbaasd en uitgedaagd worden met theater, muziek en spel. De eerste voorstelling in deze serie komt van Musical Storyteller Jeritza Toney.

Jeritza vertelt verhalen, zingt en speelt muziek, in nauw samenspel met het publiek. Ze schrijft liedjes speciaal voor kinderen en houdt moeiteloos rekening met een bepaald thema, of vertelt het verhaal uit een (prenten)boek naar keuze. 

Op muzikale reis langs Anansi
Een populair verhaal dat Jeritza vaker vertelt, gaat over spin Anansi. Over deze mythische spin gaan al eeuwenlang en over de hele wereld verhalen de ronde. Het mooist zijn deze verhalen wanneer ze worden verteld… Maar of ze waar gebeurd zijn? Heeft deze spin met haar magische krachten echt bestaan? Dat weet niemand…

This theaterseason, De Krakeling presents a program for young children and their parents once a month on Wednesday mornings.
A playful morning in which children are surprised, amazed and challenged with theatre, music and games. The first performance in this series comes from Musical Storyteller Jeritza Toney.

Jeritza tells stories, sings and plays music, in close collaboration with the audience. She writes songs especially for children and effortlessly takes a certain theme into account, or tells the story from a (picture) book of your choice. On a musical journey through Anansi A popular story that Jeritza tells more often is about spider Anansi. Stories have been circulating about this mythical spider for centuries and all over the world. These stories are most beautiful when they are told… But are they true? Did this spider with her magical powers really exist? Nobody knows that…
