In deze vloeiende voorstelling van geluid, kleur en beweging nemen twee circusartiesten je mee op een zintuiglijke reis. De kleintjes maken van heel dichtbij kennis met acrobatiek en jongleren. Tijdens de voorstelling ontstaat een hartverwarmende dialoog tussen de artiesten en hun jonge publiek. Door de spontane interacties is elke voorstelling net iets anders.

Na afloop nodigen de artiesten de kleintjes uit om samen het speelveld te ontdekken. Ze mogen in, uit, langs en door het decor kruipen om de bijzondere materialen van dichtbij te verkennen. 

Be kind is het regiedebuut van Emilie Weisse en bij het maken van deze productie werkte zij nauw samen met het Baby & Child Research Center in Nijmegen. Voor de samenwerking tussen kunst en wetenschap ontvingen ze de Mingler Scholarship 2022.

Let op: De voorstelling is alleen toegankelijk voor kinderen van 6 tot 18 maanden en hun begeleiders. Oudere of jongere broertjes en zusjes kunnen helaas niet mee.

Circus theatre for the little ones
Be kind is an intimate circus theatre experience for babies 6 to 18 months of age and their parents/care givers. Up-close the little ones are introduced to sounds, light, acrobatics and juggling. During the performance a heartwarming dialogue develops between the artists and their young audience. Because of the spontaneous interactions each show is slightly different. After the performance, the artists invite the little ones to explore the stage together. They are allowed to crawl in, out, along and through the set to explore the special materials up close.

Be kind is the directorial debut of Emilie Weisse and in creating this production she worked closely together with the Baby & Child Research Center in Nijmegen. For this collaboration between art and science they were granted the Mingler Scholarship 2022.
