In Geel wordt het publiek meegenomen in een gele wereld waar alles, maar dan ook echt alles, geel is. Zelfs de bezoekers zitten op gele kussentjes. Geel is de kleur van de zon, van blijdschap. Met haar mimespel laat Anastasiia Liubchenko allerlei grappige gele bewoners tot leven komen. De originele livemuziek van Thijs Felperlaan en Yung-Tuan Ku verhoogt hierbij de magie.
Het is genieten in de gele stad. Tot blauw verschijnt. Dat is niet onze kleur. Dat kennen we niet. In de strijd van geel tegen blauw ontstaat er iets onverwachts.

Beeldende kunst moeilijk? Welnee! In het speelmuseum kraakt en knispert het van verse kunst waar kinderen én hun (groot-)ouders spelenderwijs kennis maken met de wereld van kleur en vorm. Perfect voor de jonge doelgroep die van nature al zeer goed abstract kan denken – en hun ouders om zich opnieuw te verwonderen. Kleurrijk staat opgesteld in de Krakeling foyer.

Yellow will take the audience on a journey to a world where everything is yellow.
That is no understatement, even the cushion you sit on during the play is yellow. Yellow is the color of the sun, but also the color of happiness. Anastasiia Liubchenko brings a variety of yellow inhabitants to life through mime. The play also contains live music by Thijs Felperlaan and Yung Tuan-Ku. The three performers collectively shape the city into something beautiful, life appears perfect in the yellow city.
That is until an entirely new color appears: blue. This is a color that is unknown to the yellow people. And the struggle between yellow and blue seems inevitable. But then something unexpected happens...
EXTRA: Kleurrijk discovery playgarden. Visual art difficult? Not at all! The play museum is bursting with fresh art where children and their (grand)parents get to know the world of color and shape in a playful way. Perfect for young children who by nature are able to think in abstract terms - and their parents to be amazed again. Kleurrijk is set up in the Krakeling foyer.
